One of the common tasks you will deal with is updating the HSPC:
Before the contest:
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc page with the new dates and change wording to present tense
- upload new pdfs for the letter and registration form, and update the links to point to the new files
- remove the direct links to last years pictures at the top
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc/rules page, if necessary (usually not)
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc/schedule page
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc/form, if necessary (usually not)
After the event:
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc page to change wording to past tense
- create a new album for this year under the High School Programming Contest parent album
- create three albums under that one: Winning Teams, Miscellaneous, and All Teams
- copy all the photos for one of these albums to /web/cis-dept/htdocs/sites/default/temp/
go to https://www.cis.ksu.edu/admin/content/image_import and follow the instructions to add the images to the desired album
- repeat the last two steps for the other two albums
update the https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc page with links to the new albums
update the problems archive at https://www.cis.ksu.edu/news/hspc/problems
